Ben Hartley started a successful wedding photography business in Columbus, Ohio after learning photography skills while working at a video production company. In the first year, Ben worked a full-time job while shooting 40 weddings on the side to build his business. He focused on providing value for clients in his marketing efforts instead of just promoting his skills. Ben also made goals to eliminate debt and save money before quitting his day job to focus fully on photography. By bringing value to others, Ben gained confidence and grew his business to six figures annually.
