In this episode of the Shoot for Success Photography podcast, host Sean Brown discusses how he spent thousands of dollars at the end of 2020 to outsource photo editing for his business in 2021, and how it has been the best decision he’s made to free up more time to serve clients and grow his business. With a short senior portrait shooting season, Sean realized he had to take some tasks off his plate to avoid burnout and diminished client service. By calculating the time savings from outsourcing editing and realizing he could book 1-2 more clients to pay for it, Sean shifted his mindset to focus on only tasks he alone could do. He challenges listeners to let go of what they can outsource so they can better serve clients, avoid burnout, and make more money by freeing up time to take on more clients.
